The gun as it comes from the factory is not legal in CA due to it's length of 29.5" (needs to be at least 30") Fits in a 3 day backpack easily and is the perfect compliment to my Glock 35 as it uses the same mags and ammo but gives me an honest 100 yard range. It folds in half and is about 18" long when folded. I got this gun because it is very compact and offers a lot of firepower. I would suggest, put a few hundred rounds through it stock, and see what you feel it will need. Now mine was used, and came with the Tacticool tube and bolt handle sleeve, and a tiny rail on the underside, which is sporting a flashlight. What I found was, I loved the blaze orange post, with my pisspoor eyes can see it and the target better than I was expecting, and was good to go out to 200 yards, for me if I get on target then raise it to the point the target disappears, am dead on and was getting totally acceptable groups.Īt anything below 100 yards, can almost snap shot it and hit a pie plate.įor what it was made to do, and what I wanted it for, could not be happier with it with stock sights. I was impatient, and when I finally got home to shoot it, didn't take the time to swap everything out. I had followed all the internet wisdom, and thought the OEM front sight would suck, as that is what all the cool kids said. I bought my Gen 1 and also bought a Red Lion mount and M-4 style front sight, with the intention of putting a red dot on it, at the same time.
